Arriving in Taradale be sure to make a visit to New Zealand’s oldest winery, The Mission Estate, before making your way to your overnight accommodation at Breckenridge Lodge.  Tonight your cycling efforts will be rewarded with a 5 course degustation dinner!

Day 3:  The Puketapu Loop, a favourite trail for locals and visitors alike!  Following the Tutaekuri River you’re in for a treat-filled day visiting a historic Moari Pa Site, an Organic Winery, a Classic Rural Pub and a Chocolate Factory.  What could be better!  Returning to Breckenridge Lodge another stunning degustation dinner ends a great day.

Day 4:  Today all the cycling is taken care of in the morning with a beautiful ride through orchard and farmland country, following the rivers of the Tutaekuri and Ngaruroro to the world acclaimed Ngatarawa Gimblett Gravels appellation.  The afternoon is then all about the wine!  Enjoy the ambience of the many Cellar Doors offering tastings before your late afternoon transfer to Greenhill Lodge.  A 4 course table d’hote dinner will be served at the lodge tonight.

Day 5:  A day off the bike to rest the body and enjoy a 4 hour private car tour which will showcase some of the wonderful characters and attractions of the region.  Spend the afternoon at leisure at the lodge before being treated to another culinary delight for dinner.

Day 6:  From the bustling, stylish village of Havelock North you cycle through stunning orchard and vineyard country to the Cape Coast.  Enjoy visits to the fine wineries of Te Awanga before your afternoon transfer to The Farm at Cape Kidnappers Lodge where pre-dinner drinks, an a-la- carte dinner and luxurious accommodation awaits.

Day 7:  A relaxing day to enjoy this unique property and a sports massage at the Lodge Spa will see you refreshed for final day of cycling tomorrow.  Pre-dinner drinks and an a-la-carte dinner are once again included.

Day 8:   An easy, scenic, coastal ride takes you through the East Clive Wetlands, a perfect place to quietly observe the many native birds that inhabit the area.  On reaching the outskirts of Napier you follow the Norfolk Palm lined Marine Parade to the city centre, the ‘Art Deco Capital of the World’.  Spend some time viewing the distinctive architectural style of the buildings before the final 5km cycle back to Ahuriri.
